Working with cranes & using a GRCS (tree winch)
Not all trees require a crane, dangerous and sometimes large trees may require the use of a crane. Crane work by its very nature is dangerous and expensive. It can sometimes be the only safe way to remove a tree and can saves days of labour or damage to property. There are times when you can not get a crane near to the tree so an alternate method has to be used. This is where the GRCS comes in! This is cutting edge technology within tree work and again can be invaluble when sectionaly dismantaling large or dangerous trees.
Benefit's of a Crane or GRCS
The main benefits of a crane or GRCS boils simply down to SAFETY. There are times when there just is no other way! An added bonus is time saved, this could actually work out cheaper than paying for extra labour. There is always a way to sectional dismantle a tree but this may mean using expensive equipment to do it safely. The picture above shows a 2 Ton piece of timber being lifted away.
